Full course description
This new practicum social work instructor training equips first-time social work practicum instructors with the essential skills and knowledge to supervise MSW students effectively. Participants will review their core responsibilities, explore Touro's key policies, and learn evidence-based best practices for supervision of student learning.
At completion of the course, learners will be able to
1. Explain the purpose of practicum education and what roles you will play in supporting your student's learning.
2. Describe the required learning competencies for your student and the documentation required by Touro
3. Develop best practices for supervising MSW students.
